the poet

you want to know  how can anyone  large shadow  a, b, c  time of day  spring  look out my window  I see you staring  cruel place  somewhere  endings  not me  sun shines  stare at the mirror  hurt, pain  To A Soulmate  tiger's eyes  rain splatters  treat me like shit?  fire inside!  No One  journeys  love and lust  My Friend  falling  bitch, whore  no comfort  yes, yes  the music begins  somewhere i know  no longer  understanding  smurf  in...out...  Label.  addiction  lie in the darkness  frustrations  Fire  cold, alone  SheWhoKnows  you fell in love  human  wolf sees all  what to think  i feel lost  angel  twelve

i stare at the mirror
there is a vague figure staring back at me
i look closer
the figure is stunning
the almond eyes the color of a stormy night at sea
framed perfectly
the face is proportioned equally
most people strive to match this beauty
and fail
pouty lips that shame the most beautiful sunset
high cheekbones denoting a before unknown and still unnamed indian heritage
soft, chestnut hair flows around the bewitching face
the sun glints a rainbow of fiery highlights, unnoticed until now
the svelte body lounges peacefully
skin of the purest ivory almost glows in the night
the form shames even ---
the spotlight flashes on
illuminating the figure in harsh light
oh, it's only me.
shadows can play tricks on the mind
it was a nice thought, i tell myself
i go back to my daydreaming
